In a simple functional building on the outskirts of the city of Kamp-Lintfort situated in an industrial area the 400 m2-sized gallery Bernd Schulz presents its African art. Persons who enter the prudently fitted out rooms are always impressed by the variety of exhibits arranged in an expert manner and presented professionally. An event for connoisseurs and non-professionals as well. The spring and autumn exhibitions which take place every year are a tradition. A catalogue accompanies these exhibitions. Furthermore, special exhibitions are prepared from time to time. At the beginning of this century many European artists „discovered“ the African works of art; above all under aesthetical rather than ethnological orientation. So we occasionally encounter in the gallery a very special way of meeting of modern art with African objects.
